Giuliani Associates Office
Alexandria, VA
Project Narrative
After being located at 1,000 Connecticut Avenue for forty years, Giuliani Associates moved to Alexandria, VA. From 2007 to 2019 Giuliani Associates operated out of 123 S. Royal Street. The building had all the charm of Old Town. Parts of the facility were over 100 years old. It was time for a change. The new home of Giuliani Associates was designed to facilitate architecture and engineering as they are practiced today.
The facility has multiple conference rooms, a training room, design studio and a broadcast studio. Yes, Giuliani Associates uses a broadcast studio for creating productions about client projects. Architecture is changing.
Finishes includes polished concrete floors with epoxy accents; painted gypsum board with epoxy accents; and a blacked out exposed ceiling. Glass is used to transmit light through the space as much as possible.
Custom millwork was domestically fabricated. A large open coffee station is a place where the design teams gather to take a break or collaborate over a webconference.
