Giuliani Associates provides programming services to establish a rational basis for the design process. Each program is derived in part from interviews with user groups, managers, and facility groups. Each group’s operational needs, in terms of image, function, growth, and economic concerns are analyzed with stakeholder participation and feedback. This joint effort produces a mutual understanding of the program requirements and a clear definition of design goals. Giuliani Associates has provided planning

and programming services for a number of expansion programs; many of the programs were developed for the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. In each case, Giuliani Associates has worked with other disciplines to incorporate criteria such as projected passenger flows, concessions requirements, and airline operational needs into each plan and program.
